Is my recording uploaded anywhere?
No. Every effect is applied right in your browser using the Web Audio API. Your recording never leaves your device, which is faster and completely private.
What effects are included?
Chipmunk, helium, deep voice, monster, robot, alien, ghost, echo, cave reverb, telephone, megaphone, underwater, chorus, tipsy wobble and 8-bit — plus an "Original" option to compare against your unprocessed voice.
Do the voice effects keep the original speed?
Yes. The chipmunk, helium, deep and monster effects shift the pitch up or down while keeping your original speaking speed, so your voice sounds higher or lower without playing faster or slower. They use a voice-tuned pitch engine for a smooth, natural result.
Can I use a video file?
Yes. Drop in a video and the voice changer will pull out and transform its audio track. The result is saved as an audio file (MP3 or WAV).
What does the strength slider do?
It blends the effect with your original voice. At 100% you hear the full effect; lower it to mix in some of the original for a subtler result.
Can I record directly here?
Not yet — for now, record with your phone or computer's voice recorder, then upload the file. We may add direct recording in the future.
