These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of WaveCut and its tools at wavecut.net. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Use of the service

WaveCut provides free, browser-based audio tools — including the Audio Trimmer, Audio Converter, Tempo Changer, Audio Reverser, Volume Booster, Metronome, Pitch Changer, Voice Changer, Audio Merger, and Audio Compressor — for your personal and lawful use. Because processing happens in your browser, you are responsible for the files you choose to use and for keeping your own copies of any results.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the site only with audio or video you own or have the right to use, and not for any unlawful purpose or in any way that infringes the rights of others. You agree not to attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the site.

Tools such as the Voice Changer let you alter how a voice sounds. You agree not to use this or any other tool to impersonate a real person without their consent, to create misleading or deceptive audio of someone, or to harass, defame, or deceive anyone. You are solely responsible for how you create, use, and share any output from our tools.

Intellectual property

The WaveCut name, site design, and original content are the property of their respective owner and are protected by applicable law. Any audio you process remains entirely yours — we claim no rights over it.

No warranty

The site and tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the tools will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that results will meet your requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the site. As the tools run locally, please keep backups of important files.
